Drugstore, the innovation hub of Publicis Communications, now has a branch at the Gänsemarkt in Hamburg, Germany.
As with the other Drugstores, the main aim of the one in Hamburg is to bridge the gulf between big brands and start-ups in order to develop ideas and innovations quickly and bring them to the market.
Clients of the communication agencies gathered under the roof of Publicis Communication such as Leo Burnett, Publicis Pixelpark, Saatchi & Saatchi, MetaDesign and MSL Germany benefit from the direct exchange and concrete collaboration with internal and external experts, start-ups, entrepreneurs, movers and shakers. Drugstore is therefore not only a place where ideas are developed and re-thought, but also a place where many different actors come together in innovation processes – a meaningful networking in which ideas can be implemented directly.
The Drugstore offers fixed event formats such as “Meet the Makers” events and “Supper Clubs”, where clients of Publicis Communications as well as partners meet. “Hackdays” for example, focuses on the concrete implementation of ideas. Drugstore Hamburg is also supported by Next Media Accelerator, a start-up initiative by dpa, German publishers and the Hamburg Senate.
The Drugstore can be found at the location of Publicis Pixelpark in Hamburg. The meeting rooms, are equipped with modern communication technology. Among other rooms, there’s a news desk, a studio, a workshop for arts and crafts, a gadget lab, as well as a submarine named think tank.
